National Dance Experience
Dancers from across the country come together here, first through online auditions and then on stage at Shilpgram and the Mela Ground. It is a place where performances are seen, appreciated and recognised with awards, prizes and genuine applause.

Discover Khajuraho
The Carnival is not just about the stage. Between shows, visitors often step out to explore Khajuraho – its temples, museums, quiet walks and nearby heritage sites – making the trip feel richer than simply attending an event.

Time Outdoors
Khajuraho also offers space to slow down or stay active. Open landscapes, cycling routes and outdoor activities give families, young travellers and visitors the chance to enjoy the surroundings alongside the Carnival.

Many Dance Forms, One Stage
During the Carnival, audiences see a mix of dance styles – classical traditions, folk forms and modern expressions. Seeing them share the same stage highlights how varied, yet connected, India’s dance culture is.

Local Food and Flavours
Food is very much part of the experience. A dedicated street serves local dishes and festival favourites, giving visitors the chance to taste regional flavours while moving between performances.

Cultural Spaces and Exhibits
Around the venue, tourism stalls and cultural displays add to the atmosphere. These spaces let visitors browse, learn and connect with different aspects of art, culture and heritage at their own pace.
